Founded in August of 2005. After more than a decade of working at the corporate level producing designs for homes throughout Florida, the Carolinas, Michigan and Virginia, DCDA was formed on the premise that every structure from a bike shed to a grand estate or important civic and commercial building should be sympathetic to its surroundings and stay true to the clients vision as well as serve the purpose it is inteded for.
"We are not in the business of creating monuments onto ourselves."
Our design approach is based on new urbanism philosophies and classical architectural languages along with modern innovations and amenities. By drawing from the best of both worlds we can help clients not only realize their vision but also create a place that stands the test of time. Every structure has a profound impact in a community and human behavior.
