East Tennessee Health Information Network (etHIN) is a Regional Health Information Organization that manages state-of-the-art technology to provide secure access to patient information at any participating health care provider. Since it's incorporation in 2005, etHIN’s purpose has been to facilitate improved patient care, safety, and quality, while lowering the cost of health care delivery.
etHIN makes health information sharing available to members of its trusted health care community, including physicians, clinics, diagnostic centers, hospitals, and other point-of-care facilities in middle East Tennessee. By connecting through etHIN, participating providers can access information that allows them to provide the safest and highest quality patient care possible.
etHIN is a community partnership of local hospital systems, the Knoxville Academy of Medicine, and community physicians, serving the needs of health care providers and patients in a 19-county region of East Tennessee.
