The mission of Nobis Works (formerly Tommy Nobis Center) is to provide job training, employment, and vocational support for youth and adults with disabilities and other barriers to employment.
TOMMY NOBIS CENTER is our job training & employment service headquartered in Marietta, GA. Only 1/3 of our clients train at the Center. Most train at community worksites with a Nobis Works supervisor at community work sites such as warehouses & grocery stores.
NOBIS ENTERPRISES provides business solutions for federal, state and local governments. Employees with severe disabilities provide administrative, mailroom, janitorial and other support services.
BUSINESS SOLUTIONS provides cost effective, high quality production & fulfillment solutions. Our 39,000-sq-ft warehouse is equipped with six loading docks, forklifts, shrink wrappers, heat sealers and L-sealers. Our team offers kit packing, assembly, light manufacturing, warehousing/distribution and more.
CAFE BLENDS: BLENDING AUTISM INTO THE WORKPLACE is a partnership with Asbury Automotive Group. Nobis Works hires, trains and supports young adults on the autism spectrum as baristas at five dealerships in Georgia, Florida and South Carolina. Nalley Automotive Group is Asbury's Atlanta group of dealerships, with Café Blends locations at Nalley Lexus-Galleria, Nalley Lexus-Roswell and Toyota of Roswell.
REWORX is our social enterprise created in 2009 to provide sustainable electronics recycling jobs for people with disabilities and other barriers, and to general revenue to maintain and grow Nobis Works. The result: a triple bottom line - a social impact (providing jobs for people with disabilities), an environmental impact (processing around one million pounds monthly) and an economic impact (turning tax consumers into tax payers, and returning almost $1 million to the economy annually in taxes paid and reductions in public assistance).
