We are families on mission together, helping people experience Jesus, and discipling those who do. We are a mission congregation of the Texas District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.
Our extended family on mission is not bound through our blood lines but is created through the blood of Jesus. In our culture there is a need for valued relationships. With the break of up the nuclear family through divorce and the increased transience within our culture, family is created with those who invite you into their lives. This can be beneficial or detrimental, depending on who you connect with.
Our culture dictates we should be a people where everything is accepted so that no one is offended. However, Christ has called us to something that is counter-culture. We need to invite everyone but disciple them as we go. This means there is life transformation. There is right and wrong based on Godâs word. Through this transformation, families who are on mission together are formed. Our goal is to become families who are on mission together.
We believe we are on the road to a major Kingdom breakthrough. We are faithful to making disciples who make disciples within the family context as they go on mission together into the world. We will see people gathering not to consume but instead celebrate what the Lord is doing through them to reach a world that does not know Him.
