The Washington University Neurofibromatosis (NF) Center is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to individuals with NF through groundbreaking research.
Affecting 1 in 2,500 people worldwide, NF is a set of complex genetic conditions which predispose individuals to tumors and other medical problems. To accelerate the discovery of new therapies for NF and to provide the best care possible, the Washington University NF Center was established in 2004.
The Washington University NF Center is composed of:
- The NF Clinical Care Program (founded in 1994)
- Over thirty Clinical and Laboratory Investigators
- Innovative Care and Outreach Initiatives
Leveraging a cross-disciplinary approach, the Washington University NF Center team of physicians, therapists and researchers continues to make new breakthroughs in the diagnosis and treatment of these common conditions.
